You can enter from the north if you are in a helicopter or airplane. Otherwise, its the south and for 3 days it has been socked in with snow and not passable without short wheelbase 4x4 and 4x snowchains all the way around. There is a colder and bigger storm enroute so check with the rangers before heading out, and tell a loved one of your travel plans.
