South Pass snow and mud info.

Looking for firsthand info on road conditions of South Pass into Saline Valley. Road report says hunter mountain has snow and the NWS says big storm for monday. I am planning to drive it on Wednesday 12/30, but am in Northern California and don't want to make the long drive only to find road is impassable due to mud or snow. If you've driven it recently let me know how it was. Any info would be great HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.
