Despite my personal interest in old cabins, mouse droppings and associated Hantavirus greatly concern me, not to mention the snake that may have been in the attic as well.
In addition, I once slept in the open on a tarp and woke up to find a coyote dropping a foot from my ear.
My experiences of the past 35 years have convinced me that my backroad jaunts need to include a teardrop trailer. The little gems are making a spectacular comeback as one of the more pragmatic ways of camping.
