Isn't it amazing that this whole string of posts - some needlessly ugly - started with an innocent request for information on an accident?

As for foreigners, the presence on the Net of a major genealogical site has illustrated to me that my ancestors came from Italy to Norway, Russia to Ireland and everything in between.

In 45 generations - back to the time of Charlemagne - every single person descends from 16 trillion ancestors. Since there have not been that many people on earth, we are all far more inter-related than some might want to admit.

To paraphrase Rodney King, we need to get along.
