The photo is of Telescope Peak. The view is across Manly Pass on the Slate Range, which obliterates all summits south of Sentinel Peak from that vantage point. Nice composition, Michael. In William Lewis Manly's book, Death Valley In '49, he described Telescope Peak by the name snow mountain, which wasn't given its official name until sometime later.
