yellowstone and firearms

Used to backpack alone in the south arm of yellowstone lake. Of course the nps says no firearms etc. But only someone taking stupid pills goes outthere in griz country unarmed. Yellowstone had more sense than most nps people, their's was an unofficial "don't ask, don't show, don't care" policy. I doubt the park service could ever win a legal challenge of their paranoid, politically correct policy.
