It depends where you are. Some pretty wicked gusts tend to come up around noon or so in the
spring. It tends to be worse around some of the
mountain pass areas where the wind is forced through a narrow pass. If you choose to try it
keep a sharp eye on things and have a plan to
get things tied down or whatever it takes to make
your ultra light safe in a 30mph gust. Remember it only takes one gust to trash your pride and joy. I've seen gusts come up and tip over coleman
tent trailers. Your ultralight would not stand a
chance unless you are prepared. Good Luck.
