I spoke to Dave Brenner over the Jan 16-19 weekend while he was out looking for for some burgler. He said the road up Pleasant Canyon was wide open (I also heard this from two other reliable sources), and the Chicken Rock corner was "passable". He said he took a park service Hummer through there.
I don't know. Dave's always been up front with me with good road/camp info and I haven't experienced any of the 'trouble' others have had. I've taken both a full sized Bronco and Expedition over the bridge with no problems. However, I want to "see" the "repairs" first hand before I roll over the bridge now. Great suggestion on posting digital photos.
