I really hadn't planned on camping at the Dunes, I understand that their are some roads,(or a road) leading beond the Dunes to some canyons, If any one has been in the area, let me know, I have camped at dunes in the past and, yes, the sand will stay with you. I like dispersed areas and respect the NPS policy. The place has been know for secluded camp sites for years and I would like to know the pitfall and benifits befor I Just head out and find second best.
