The best way I know is to hike up beveridge canyon. I assume you are tying to get to the keynot mine. When I hiked to the keynot in 1978 we went up keynot canyon. About an 8 thousand foot elevation gain. Biggest problem was finding water. We did not find any and had to cut our trip short. There also was an excellent cabin with good beds in it. We slept there that night. The tailings were full of quartz crystals.
That hike was the most difficult I have ever taken.
