PANAMINT flowers

My wife and I hiked from Towne Pass to Panamint Valley today (2/23); we were tracing the escape route of the Briers and Jayhawkers (neat easy hike).
There were no flowers in the wash until about the 3800 ft. level. All the cacti are laden with flower buds that may be out in a week or two.
MUST: Go to Wildrose Canyon and see the magnificent Panamint daises. They are located 1/2 to 3/4 mile below the spring on the north side of the road. Please don’t eat of pick the daisies. This is a once in a lifetime event.
