Thanks EK, Mike, Randy, Rick, Possum & Been There for all the good info. Yes, I must be more specific when I ask a question about the desert. I really can't imagine the open spaces you have out there.
Here in Ky, we don't have near as much Space as you have out West. I am gaining a much broader understanding of the desert and traveling in that enviroment. My 4X4 I know will get me twice as far away from help as a regular 2X. But I am not a chance taker.
Like Thoreau, I can find my "Walden" just around the corner from the masses.
