Ihad the F250 with the IH 6.9. I thought diesels did not need an electrical system. Turns out the fuel system has to have a solenoid energized to keep the fuel flowing. Loose the electrics, and the engine quits-huh? If I get another diesel, it is going to be mechanical all the way.
