I have an exploring friend who has one of those propane coolers. He dosen't carry it anymore, not sure why, he just has an ice chest. Maybe he wants to sell it?
I've had real good luck with Norcold Fridges, I have one that is over 10 years old. If you keep your eyes open on the net, you see them for sale from time to time. I picked one up last year at about 20% of the new cost.
Like others have said, they need big wire and should be hooked to an aux battery. I dive around (I explore, not seek) each day, so the aux battery stays charged.
