I've ridden w/Brenner a couple times and have visited with him in his DVNP days. I got along well with him. However, I've seen him in action. He got heavy handed when those he contacted got heavy with him, otherwise he was fine. When you work or ride with law enforcement, you see a whole different world in respect to attitudes and actions by those dealt with. And those in law enforcement are just as frustrated by the way they're treated just because they wear a badge - both by those they "protect and serve" and those who sign their paychecks.
