Anyone know if the gate at cerro gordo/too salt tram is open?

Last time I was there the gate was closed. Just wondering if it's open. Plan to drive from 395 up to salt tram, go thru cerro gordo, and down into saline valley.

On one trip I meet up with a nice group of offroaders. (land rover, and a bunch of jeeps) but we all turned around due to snow.
