What I have discovered in getting the 100k maps from BLM (so far I have the Ridgecrest and Last Chance Range maps), they clearly show the open corridors in the wilderness areas in and out of the Park. The Saline map is the one you need for that road. That is if you are talking about the Spanish Spring north of Quail Spring, Quail Canyon and Hunter Mountain itself.
Even though they do not have jurisdiction over the Park area, somehow they have a done a good job of maping the closed and open trails. And in the case of the trails in the Slate Range, they show trails that are not even indicated on the USGS 7.5 topos for the area. Good luck.
