Your Grand Cherokee will come back with the paint scratched from all the brush in Pleasant Canyon, the possibility of one or more ruined tires from the sharp rocks, and dents in your rocker panels and oil pan because this stock unit has insufficient lift to get over or around some of the boulders in the road.
Other than that, you shouldn't have a problem (assuming your girlfriend doesn't freak out during the rough ride).
You might consider, as an alternative, going into Butte Valley and from there down Warm Springs Canyon and into Death Valley proper; much easier on your fathers rig.......
