mountain bike to Telescope Peak?

Does anyone know if it is possible to mountainbike to Telescope Peak from Mahogany Flat? When I saw the beginning of the trail going up from Mahogany Flat it appeared to be more like a dirt road . . . but perhaps it gets worse/narrower/steeper farther on? Any info would be helpful. I am planning to ride from Badwater to Telescope Peak but was unsure if the last 7 miles from Mahogany Flat to the top would be possible on a bike.
Assuming it is possible, does anyone know of people who've cycled from the bottom to the top of DVNP recently?
