Oops, forgot to add the list!

Here it is!

Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge
Nye County

Unlike last year, plenty of water remains at Lower Crystal Marsh, and
shorebirds are starting to drift back through. I sighted:
BLACK-NECKED STILT (1), SEMIPALMATED PLOVER (2), KILLDEER (many),
SNOWY PLOVER (several), LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER (many), LONG-BILLED
CURLEW (1), GREATER YELLOWLEGS (several), LESSER YELLOWLEGS (two at
Peterson Reservoir, one at marsh), SPOTTED SANDPIPER, WILLET (3),
WESTERN SANPIPER (many), LEAST SANDPIPER (many), and WILSON'S
PHALAROPE (many).

Other than shorebirds, the NWR is slow, but I did see a flock of over
50 HORNED LARKS using the salt pan. An unusual duck at Crystal
Reservoir was what appeared to be at first glance a RED-BREASTED
MERGANSER female, but could have been a Common, 'cause it flew before
I got a good look. I never relocated this duck. A BELTED KINGFISHER
was at Peterson Reservoir. Kingbirds and blackbirds may be dispersed;
not many seen.
