Our friends said there was a tight turn with some boards or something on the turn where there had been a little bit of a wash out. Just before they came to itthere were three or 4 jeeps turning around afraid to go down it. Our friends new better than to take someone elses advise on something and went to check it out themselves. Their wheels didn't even have to touch the boards.
Haven't done Lippencott myself. We had planned on doing so, but when the snow hit Cerro Gordo we decided to stay and enjoy it instead. And we wound up spending the day giving town tours & historical talks so that was worth it. Lippencot is a must for someday in the future when time and schedules permit!
