Saline Hot Tubs - Safe?

I read a medical report that advised the public to be aware of bacterial infection dangers from hot tubs; specifically MAC-Mycobacterium Avuim Complex and NTM-Nontuberculosis Mycobacteria. Are these risks a problem with the hot springs at Saline Valley? If so, how do you treat the water?
