Humidity does play a significant role in the dangers of heat stress. However Maddog_Bill is correct in saying that it doesn't really matter at or above 110F. If you project the curve(s) in the chart down to lower humidity values at that temp or above you are still within a potentially dangerous zone.... Also note "HI [Heat Index] values were devised for shady, light wind conditions, exposure to full sunshine can increase HI values by up to 15°F. Also, strong winds, particularly with very hot, dry air, can be extremely hazardous." Source: NOAA
