I took my last Tracker with Yokohamas down Fish Canyon and it is every bit as nasty as the others said. When we would come to the occaisional sandy spot, the silence would be deafening and we would breathe this great sigh of relief from the pounding of the track.
The neat thing about this trail is to imagine what is must have been like for the Bennett-Arcane group as they hiked out of Death Valley with little on their feet. And the women in long skirts no less. There are some nice trail markers along the way...those that haven't been stolen.
