at aprox 529750/397375 utm spot is where the old west side road met the highway. this is the old road before the badwater road was made. the harry wade road was never a straight shot to warm spring road. on the newer maps it appears that the old west side road merged in a straight line to h.w.r. but the 1910 may doesnt show that happening.
