One of our teams did the ridgeline from Cerro Gordo to Burgess Mine area on Sunday, August 10th, and reported it in good condition.
The main road up to Cerro Gordo (Yellow Grade) has been fully repaired, though the eternal "road closed" sign remains at the entrance off Hwy. 136.
Weather has returned to hot and dry, and no sign of impending storms.
Cecile -- I didn't get to spend the night, as I was only restocking a work crew, hense only a few minutes to meet John & Roxie. When I do spend the night next, I'll look forward to meeting your feline friend!
