Fall is mating season for Tarantulas. Males are out to find dates. You can tell the mail because he has hooks on his for legs. He’ll die soon after mating. You do not really need to worry about them. you are not food and you are not a mate. Their bite painful but their venom will have little impact. The hairs they’ll kick off as a defensive mode. The hairs can irritate the eyes and breathing passages. They seldom bother humans but humans often bother them.
