I agree, lots of 'don't knows,' at least as far as I'm concerned. Can anyone point to some papers on the subject? I followed Desert_Drunks lead and put 'vapotranspiration' into Google and saw one graph that showed a dramatic increase in water consumption by plants with an increase in temperature. I did not know that the viscosity of water changed with temperature. Wonder what the relative change is.
