I take it pretty seriously. I have two 120w panels and a 250AH AGM battery. It runs a 2.6cf
12volt freezer. The panels are mounted on the roof rack of my canopy on my pickup. System is
designed even on a cloudy day in DV to put out
5 amps. The freezer when running takes 3.5 amps.
I also have some 12V fans and use an inverter to
run my blender when needed (every day!!). Solar
is a big investment at my level but considering
I can boondock and never need a generator it is
worth it to me. Smaller systems are affordable.
