While sitting in the upper springs a few years ago I strruck up a conversation with a man about the petroglyph canyon up by Steele Pass. He instantly told me that if he had seen me in the canyon he would slash my tires and kick my ass. He stated some idealistic enviro reasons for this outburst. The dude acted like he alone was the defender of the wilderness. Monkey Wrencher gone bad?
