Uphill traffic has the right away in Calif also. The problem is, the big city people don't understand that, or even how to drive a 2 way road that is one lane wide.

Silver canyon has lots of traffic. We started in from Bishop side and ran into people coming down. They did not want to make it easy for me to pass. IN NEVADA we alway give uphill traffic the road. When I had the Taco had to work the clutch and brake in 4 low to get going up the hill again a first for me.Wasnt the rig just the road. My friends in BIHOP say to come down is the best Good Luck GBA!!SVJ DAV
Great photo! Thanks for keeping this forum alive over the summer. Did you drive Silver Canyon? We considered doing it in our FJ last year but the trip was too short.

Not much on the forum during the summer. But the White Mts are soo close and loaded with thing to do. The trees are one thing but all the canyons and old mining sites are the best. The temp is just right and plenty of camping. Make sure to take plenty of supplie and lots of fuel. GBA!!SVJ
