hey any plans for DV soon? We are planning a trip with friends from Independence. For May start over s pass to Big Pine Road over to Gold point . Then down to Tecopa from their to Harry Wade road and back to Ballarat. Hope I can hold up to all the driving. Bucket list stuff at 75 have to do it while i still can.W9ill try to visit Noah if I can find his place. Snowing at Tahoe as i write this post almost a foot over Donner summit crazy weather was 70+ yesterday. GBA!!SVJ

that them friends from Independence want to see what they look like. thanks dave hope they rescue the 2 guys in gold Canyon. I passed a beat up suv with a broken window and a low rider all wheel drive on s pass in a snow srorm last trip. I think he had no business being there in the weather with that suv. Just my opinion but sure those people keep Millers happy.

The other cabins, if they are the ones you're referring to near Minietta, are in pretty bad shape. I haven't been up that way for several years.
