New User here, been exploring DV for many years, and stumbled across this site. I live in San Jose but always come to DV in the spring.and the fall. I generally find some unique places to go running,

Hopefully, someone can chime in regarding current road conditions. You might also consider posting in the regular section of the forum.

What kind of camper van? 4WD, how equipped? We sometimes are reluctant to give specific advise, without knowing your particular capabilities.

I taught my son, who at the time was 12 years old, how to drive on DV dirt roads. His first road was to the Racetrack. Fast forward (wow, how fast!) to today, and my son is 32, married, living a stone's throw from DV, and is a better off-road driver than I.
