road conditions

People continue to post erroneous information on this website. Their intention is either to start rumors or to stir ill will toward the federal government, or both. The Greenwater Valley roads are marked on the Trails Illustrated map. Roads over Deadman pass and through the Greenwater townsite areas remain open as do the series of roads over at Gold Valley. Greenwater canyon is closed because people in the past made too much negative impact in the area.

Cottonwood road is open. I was just there. Whoever said it was closed was incorrect.
