Excited About Death Valley 49'ers Encampment

Not withstanding all the fine and enlightening discussions we have had thus far on this Web Site, I am truly excited about attending my first Encampment! I am keeping an open mind (1/2 by some accounts) about what to expect. I will admit that I have been cheating in this area by expecting to find: new friends; new information about OUR beloved desert; renewed respect for this natural wonder; and, some great entertainment. I would enjoy meeeting all who have participated in our "talks" for the past few weeks. I would particularly like to meet "Wilson" - to show him that I hold no ill will toward him. If any of you happen upon me wandering around in a daze, please introduce yourself. The fact that I disagree with some of you does not mean that I have hate in my heart. Yes, I do have friends who are Tree Huggers, Earth Worshippers and Rock and Sky Protectors. So what? Thank God that we have the right to publicly disagree and still be friends.
