Panamint City

I was planning on making a hike up surprise canyon in the next few weeks.Has anyone been up to the city recenly?Is the water running in town and do I need to bring any specific supplies?(I will be bringing a new hammock for the front porch)It has been almost a year since I last saw the place I love the most and I dont think I can stay away much longer.It will probably just be me and the spirits when I go but if anyone would like to go e-mail me from my web site and we can make the plans.Dates are open.
