Cerro Gordo question -s

Hi all,

I’ve got a couple of questions regarding Cerro Gordo for those of you in the “know”. A couple of friends and I are thinking about a trip up there in September, and are wondering if they allow camping in the area. Also, I’ve heard the town is privately owned. Is there an entry fee? Should we contact the owners before we make the drive? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
