I think the key is two ply sidewalls. Single ply sidewalls do not last long on the saline valley road. Also, the campground host at the lower warm springs has spare tires and a tire changing machine. This is good to know. I just checked my heavy duty truck tires and they are 2 ply sidewalls which is the toughest tires get. I always carry two spares in sv and 2 ply sidewalls are more important than being lt or passenger tires. Thanks for the information. Great post.
