John and Roxie are hired by owner Mike Patterson and they manage the town for him. They do live up there year round. You can travel through the town without a problem, as the road is public road. However if you want to tour the town you will need to contact them, and they prefer a call ahead so they will be expecting you. John is quite familiar with traveling the backcountry up there and can you advise you in that as well.
