While the stair of Dedeckera Canyon are a source of worry, they're not the only one. Just south of Steel Pass, maybe a 1/4 mile, is a kissing rock which might require about a 30 point turn for a long wheelbase vehicle. And count on about 2.5 hours to go from Eureka Dunes to the lower warm springs.
