Twice, and in different cities, I have spotted folks blithely motoring down the road towards open desert with branches and green waste heaped in their trucks. One was quite pissed that I stayed glued to his tail as he headed for the desert. Him and his buddy swore they were delivering "firewood" to a friend just down the road. I was very neighborly and offered to help them unload it at their "friends house". You can't stop 'em all, but I can't stand seeing it happen.
