Ultralights/Furnace Creek/Camping

Hi all...I just found this board and have a question that someone may be able to answer. A couple friends and myself would like to go Death Valley and fly our Ultralight Trikes out of Stovepipe Wells Airport. My question is would we be able to stay in the RV at the airport so we wouldn't have to setup our wings every time we wanted to fly. How far is the nearest campground from the airport? I see a Trailer Park on my topo right next to the airport. Does it still exist? I believe they allow backcountry camping, do you think they would allow us to take off from a dirt surface in the park. I kind of doubt it. I suppose I could call the Park Service but will probaly get answers I don't want to hear. HA HA. Well thanks in advance for any replies...Arlan
