may, but not likely to get snow. you will be in a wooded area with the possiblity of seeing wild life, deer. hike from eureka dunes to crater, its listed in George Huxtable 'hiking the desert trail' or up dedeckera cyn over to the big pine-dv road. or hike up marble cyn to the saline valley road.
i dont know if camping is still ok, i think it is though.
before you get to the park..........forget that, camp anywhere you like. just get off the road, hike in.
