Wranglers come from the factory with street tires, except for Rubicon model. Don't take a Wrangler or other 4x4 with stock, passenger rated tires to Saline.
Wranglers and any 4x4 often embolden novices to drive beyond their skill level and get themselves in trouble. Saline (and the deserts in general) can be unforgiving and can harm or kill novices.
Social media seems to mask the danger out of Saline. Air conditioned vehicles mask the danger as well. When the engine stops, so does the AC. It's a long walk to anywhere. Conversely, winter brings delight to the valley, but dangers to the entry/exit roads into and out of the valley.
Do your homework for both yorself and your vehicle. This forum and other DV themed forum is one part of the homework. Saline is a crapshoot. You might have beginner's luck one day, be in peril the next.
