I appreciate your work at SAR. Unfortunately, far too often, people get into trouble in Death Valley, because they do not realize the potential dangers.
When out at PSR recently for a couple of weeks, there were no fewer than 5 people in two weeks that came into PSR with tales of stuck vehicles. This is on paved roads. Several of them were able to be helped, but it shows that people need to be aware of simple things, like driving off the edge of the paved road into soft sand.
