This forum died-------Goodbye, I'm moving to Tecopa

Internet forums are very, very fragile creatures. The slightest ripple through an established forum can cause it to instantly lose momentum and hemorrhage users. In this case, the owner's mistake was not using one of the two dominant forum software packages: phpBB and vBulletin. Probably 99% of the forums on the internet are in one of these environments; EVERYBODY knows how to use them. This one is too atypical, and a major, instant turnoff. The layout and interface are horrible, and it's obvious that the creator is a total forum rookie. The old forum may have been "archaic," but I never heard anybody complain about it, and it was really busy. It could have been integrated into this site without completely destroying it. Oh well, it's all history at this point. DV Talk was nice while it lasted.

Oh man, the white swan! It got so hot and heavy for a while, I left the forum for a period of time.

like I said was lots of post when Bandit was a hot subject. Also (can of worms) the White Swan Mine not sure what stopped that issue. But was hot and heavy back then. Dave have good turkey day and give Noah regards. Still Va app to plan around. GBA!! SVJ

No. Never have lived in Tecopa. Have lived in Trona, Ridgecrest, June Lake, Big Pine. Have lived in Winnemucca for a decade now.

do not get me wrong I love Tecopa but enjoy Great Basin and Black Rock more. Nice to be close to the Sierras and the
high desert . We try to spent a week or more in spring and fall in Tecopa every year.Pyramid Lake and good fishing are a short 25 mins from home .Are you the same person that owned Desert Wind years back.
