South end DV

We drive a stock Rubicon, only bad spots in the road are in Sperry canyon where the road goes up the wash. A couple of spots where we had to crawl over some rocks in areas where the road was hard to find but it wasn't that bad. Can't say about your vehicle but turning around if it looks too bad should also be an option. Haven't been out in the Owl Heads much, can't help you there. old tundra short wheel base 2 inch lift sud or cud be done? Owl head is the one that has me worried never any traffic from what I have heard. hope the gov has not closed the road. Last time i did it reminded me of Ho chi min trail. thanks

We drove Sperry Wash last fall from Dumont Dunes all the way through. It was a nice trip, some rough spots in the road but totally doable for a capable vehicle. Although that road gets a lot of ATV/UTV traffic we didn't see anyone the day we went through and it was a very pleasant drive. Stop at the Date Farm for a date shake on the upper end if you go all the way through.
