are you stationed in Vegas area now?I remember you being ing Bay Area awhile back. We went to Parhump on our trip last visit was over 30 years ago.It will be awhile before I go back . Had to check out new VA clinic pretty fancy compared to ours in Reno. GBA!!SVJ

I went on a cavern tour a few weeks ago. The most remarkable thing about these Caverns is how dry they are nowadays! There was one stalactite that had a drop of water at the tip.

Met Blm ranger in the Mojave and we started talking about the caves. They are open again on limited basis to tours. You have to make advanced reservations for a tour. He says they are booked well in advance. No camping is allowed but plenty open spaces in the area.Kelso train station is well worth the trip nice museum.GBA!!SVJ
