Hey all. Been on the old forum for a long time, but I don't post much. I get out to DV when I can. But like most of us it's not often enough. I have an old trail jeep and usually run solo. I like to get out, away from others, to enjoy the magic solitude that is only found in the desert.

I have been going to Death Valley since the sixties. Love to hike and see the geological features.

My name is the same as on the old forum. It took several tries to get things to work right with resetting my lost password. Randall, just read carefully and reset your password so all your old info will follow you.

shane from fairfield, ca. i was never able to successfully register on the old forum so i'm happy to see the new format!
i've been visiting death valley since 2001, typically 2-3 times a year. i most enjoy backpacking/hiking the more remote parts of the park with my wife.
