I have approved a couple of folks that should be legitimate, but I was a bit unsure. . So, if we do end up with spam, please be sure to use the "Contact Us" bottom, and we get it taken care of.

So far, the pre-approval has worked to keep the spammers from ever completing registration, and making a mess of the board. Still getting the same number (3-5 per day) trying to register, but they are promptly deleted.

If anyone is legitimately trying to register, and is having difficulties, please send a note to the administrators by using the "Contact Us" button on the help panel.

While the admins are keeping a close watch on the board, and removing spam postings as soon as possible, we recognize it is annoying that they are posted at all. To this end, we are changing the method of new user registration.

Instead of a new user automatically being granted access to the board, an administrator will now manually grant permission to new users, after they sign up and verify their email address. So, if you are a legitimate new user, you may experience a day or two delay in being granted permission to post. We apologize for that inconvenience, but feel this is a small price to pay to eliminate spam on the board.
